Eric Raful

Founding Partner of León & Raful, where he leads the advisory and litigation teams, as well as coordinating national and foreign investment projects. He specializes in Medical and Health Law, Criminal, Constitutional, Human Rights, and Electoral Law, with extensive experience in litigation and consulting for national and international organizations. He has also participated in drafting significant legislation for the healthcare system and the Dominican legal framework. He holds a Law Degree from the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU) ...and studied Sociology at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD).

MARIEL LEÓN LEBRÓN.

She holds a Law Degree from the UNPHU, is a Notary Public, and holds a specialty and a master's degree in Private Law from UNAM. She has held prominent positions such as Director of ONDA, advisor to INDOTEL, and negotiator for the Dominican Republic in international treaties such as the FTAA and CAFTA-DR. She has an outstanding academic career as a professor and speaker on Intellectual Property, in addition to having authored over 40 specialized essays. She has participated in the drafting of significant legislative bills and has received numerous national and international recognitions. As a founding partner of the firm, she leads the Civil Law, Family Law, Commercial Law, Intellectual Property, Telecommunications, and E-Commerce practice areas.

Victor Aquino

Associate attorney at León & Raful since the firm's founding in 1986. His practice focuses on Real Estate Law, Civil Law and Civil Procedure, Environmental Law, and the Law of Successions and Liberalities. He is a founding member of the Institute of Environmental Law of the Dominican Republic and has extensive training in these areas. He holds a Law Degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) and holds a Master's degree in Real Estate Law from the same university, in addition to various diploma programs and specialization courses.

JOAQUIN ZAPATA

Associate attorney at León & Raful since 1997, with a practice focused on Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Civil Law. He has extensive experience in the prosecution of crimes related to piracy, copyright, trademark counterfeiting, and industrial property. Previously, he held positions in the Judiciary and at the National Copyright Office (ONDA). He holds a Law Degree from the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU) and holds postgraduate studies in Criminal Procedure and a Master's degree in Civil Law and Civil Procedure from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD).

LILIA FERNÁNDEZ

Partner at León & Raful, where she has developed her career since 1999 and practices primarily in the areas of litigation and legal counsel. Her practice focuses on Civil Law, Civil Procedure, Family Law, and Public Law, with experience in transparency, access to information, and institutional strengthening. She is also a professor at UASD and has participated as a speaker in international forums. She holds a Doctorate in Law, Magna Cum Laude, from the UNIBE, and holds Master's degrees in French, European, and International Private Law from the Universidad Panthéon-Assas (París II) and in Senior Public Management from the IGLOBAL e IUIOG.

JOEL DEL ROSARIO

Since 2017, where he has been part of the legal team, developing a practice focused on litigation and legal counsel. He specializes in Real Estate Law, Family Law, Civil Law, Civil Procedure, Commercial Law, and Energy Law, also participating in renewable and conventional energy projects. He is also a professor at the Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago (UTESA) and the Universidad Federico Henríquez y Carvajal (UFHEC). He holds a Law Degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) and holds a Master's degree in Real Estate Law from the UASD, in addition to Master's degrees in Business Administration and Management, and International Trade and Strategic Management from the EUDE Business School de Madrid.

VINY CAROLINA URRACA

She has been a part of León & Raful since 2007 and currently serves as an attorney, providing a comprehensive perspective on legal, tax, accounting, and corporate matters. Her practice focuses on tax advisory, tax compliance, and business management, backed by over fifteen years leading the firm's Accounting Department. She holds degrees in Law and Marketing, with distinction Magna Cum Laude, in addition to holding a Master's degree in Modern Management from the Universidad Católica Santo Domingo (UCSD) and various diplomas in taxation, auditing, and taxes.

FRANKLYN ARAUJO

He has been a part of the León & Raful team since 2022, where he practices in the areas of litigation and legal counsel. His practice focuses on Civil, Real Estate, Commercial, and Administrative Law, as well as matters concerning Children and Adolescents (NNA), with experience in judicial proceedings, contracts, and corporate law. Previously, he collaborated with the National School of the Judiciary on legal documentation and research projects. He holds a Law Degree and a Master's degree in Civil Law and Civil Procedure from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD)and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Constitutional Law at th Universidad Abierta para Adultos (UAPA).

YUREISMI UREÑA

She is part of the team at León & Raful, where she contributes to the handling and management of legal matters with a responsible and service-oriented approach. Her practice focuses primarily on Civil Law and Civil Procedure, continuously strengthening her knowledge to provide effective support to clients. She holds a Law Degree from the Universidad Católica Santo Domingo (UCSD) and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Civil Law and Civil Procedure.

NIKAURY RINCÓN MERCEDES

Lawyer of the firm León & Raful, SRL – Law Firm, Notaries, and Consultants since May 2025, and a team member since July 2019, where she began her career as a paralegal.

Bachelor of Laws from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD). She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Civil Law and Civil Procedure at the same institution.

Luisa Amarante

She has been a part of León & Raful since 2024 as a Junior Attorney, providing support in case management and follow-up. Her practice is strengthened by training in coercive measures, divorce, cybercrime, banking consumer protection, and digital rights. She is distinguished by her commitment, results-oriented approach, and diligent client care. She holds a Law Degree, Cum Laudefrom the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) and has completed various specialized training courses in highly relevant areas of law.

Estephania Marcano

A member of the León & Raful team, where they provide legal support as a paralegal in case management and legal proceedings. Their experience focuses on Family Law, Commercial Law, and Tax Law, with participation in proceedings before various courts and in the drafting of contracts and legal documents. They are currently pursuing a Law Degree at the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE)with a special interest in the protection of the rights of children and adolescents.

Arlyn Baez

Her profile combines administrative rigor and a legal vocation. Before joining León & Raful, she was an Administrative Assistant in the IES Program (2023-2024), where she managed documentation, databases, and physical and digital archives, prepared reports, and provided guidance to users and colleagues. She is distinguished by her responsibility, organization, and ability to perform efficiently in administrative and legal environments, as well as her commitment to continuous learning.

Academic background: She is studying Law at the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU), with one year of training completed, after graduating as a high school senior in the first exam session (2023) from the Centro Educativo Nuestra Señora de la Fe. She has complemented her training with a workshop on immigration law taught by Academia Jurídica (2023) and a social media management course on Domestika (2022). She is a native Spanish speaker and has an intermediate B2 level of English.

Liz Esther Montero Oliva

Lawyer - Legal Assistant for the León & Raful firm, represented by Licda. Perla de León. Specialized in legal and documentary drafting, contract preparation and review, file compilation and control, collections management, billing, and report generation. Experience in institutional improvement plans and their follow-up. Complementary skills in content management, social media, and websites. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Organized profile with strong follow-through capabilities and excellent interpersonal skills with internal staff and clients.

Law Degree from the Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago (UTESA). Technical training at CEDEMI: Executive Secretarial Studies, Microsoft Office Suite, and Bank Teller. Career experience as a Legal Assistant at INCART and at the Law Office of Soraya Aguas Vivas, in addition to secretarial duties at Laboratorios Pichardo.
